Because There are Better Ways to Learn
At Wild Roots Holistic Learning Center, we aim to provide the natural child a safe and prepared environment to learn what the mind and heart desires, while encouraging each to discover what makes everyone unique.
Wild Roots Holistic Learning Center is a sought-after alternative to other early childhood education concepts. We put forth a long-lasting community effort to bring families and educators together to raise a generation of children who see beauty and value in themselves and others, through relevant education, self-discovery, curiosity, and mindfulness.
Holistic Learning Defined
A holistic approach pays attention to children’s physical, personal, social, and emotional well-being as well as cognitive aspects of learning.
We believe in nurturing the whole child. This takes place in many forms, and some examples include:
- Infusing calming essential oils and natural lighting upon their arrival.
- Creating community classrooms indoors and out to promote diversity, curiosity, and ease of learning.
- Provoking learning opportunities with educators’ guidance.
- Exploring the arts, including art, music, cooking, dance, and more…
Wild Roots Holistic Learning Center offers more than an early-learning franchise for potential owners. Our elementary-school services provide our clients with an education option that brings our experience-based learning approach to the classroom.
We offer a modern approach using a one-room school house environment allowing you the maximum retention of students from enrollment. With additional revenue streams available to current franchisees including our Sports, Music, and Parent & Me classes the opportunities are endless.
Wild Olympians
The sports program at Wild Roots is designed to help young children develop a love of movement and sports. The program takes place during the fall and spring months and includes weekly classes focused on teaching the basic fundamentals of a variety of sports, such as baseball, football, and lacrosse.
Bella Musica
The music program at Wild Roots uses collaborative group classes to introduce students to music fundamentals such as basic rhythm, pitch, types of sound, and instrument exploration.
The program emphasizes the importance of experiential learning and incorporates elements of movement, song, and dance to help children develop a love for music.
The program also includes opportunities for children to work together to prepare and perform in twice-annual music productions, where they can integrate elements of culture, theater, and design into their musical performances.
Parent & Me
Parent & Me is a program that Wild Roots offers periodically to families in our community. The classes allow families outside of our school family to experience the Wild Roots style of learning, and gives parents tools to use while working with their children at home.
Each class is led by an experienced Wild Roots teacher, and is sprinkled with Montessori and Reggio-Emilia inspired activities, music and movement, and outdoor exploration.
This program is a great way to reach local families and introduce the Wild Roots philosophy.
